• Represent Guardians MH in positive ways, upholding our mission and goals consistent with guardians MH ideology

• Create a safe and inclusive space for viewers through positive gaming experiences via live streaming and working with the streaming community at large. Also helping to procure and provide meaningful resources when needed with the use of the RTS Bot

Become an Ambassador with us

All new ambassadors applying must fill out our new application survey. Our program leads will review the applications and reach out to let you know the next steps. All new ambassadors are also required to take our mental health advocate training as well upon being accepted as a GMH ambassador

GUIDELINES

Ambassadors are considered official representatives of GMH and must conduct themselves in a manner that aligns with the mission and goals of Guardians Mental Health.

1. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

2. Ambassadors must have their own Twitch or streaming platform channel.

3. Ambassadors will need to have their own equipment for live streaming.

4. All new applicants must fill out the application survey that needs to be evaluated by the GMH staff.

5. Active ambassadors will receive a rank on their badge with their anniversary in the program.

6. GMH can end an ambassador's status at any time, at our own discretion, for violations of our program guidelines, exhibiting a negative image of our organization, or any other negatively impacting situation that does not align with GMH image.

7. Ambassadors must uphold a positive image and not use obscene language or post any form of media that is of a harassing, threatening, or discriminatory nature or may take part in any previously described actions.

8. The use of profanity is allowed on an ambassador's personal channel as long as its not overly graphic, or intentionally triggering.

9. Any reported infraction that violates these guidelines will be reviewed by our program leads. Actions to be taken will be voted and agreed on by the leadership team.

10. GMH reserves the right to remove any ambassadors at our own discretion, for exhibiting behavior that is deemed toxic to the reputation of GMH, it's associated partners, and gaming communities or jeopardizing the inherent safe spaces created by the GMH brand and it's ambassador program therein.

11. If someone is removed from the program, they can no longer use our logos or promote they are a GMH ambassador or have any affiliation with GMH.

BENEFITS

• Ambassadors will be listed on the GMH website as official representatives of GMH

• Receive LSSP training as well as training for the utilization of our Real-Time Support bot

• Receive an official GMH Ambassador badges to place on their overlay on stream and/or in their bios and be able to promote themselves on socials as GMH Ambassadors

• Each year Ambassadors will also receive a GMH item as a thank you for your ongoing support 

• Opportunities to attend conventions to represent GMH at our booth and on the floor.

• Focused training by our Clinical team such as

  - The Live-Streaming Support Program

  - Tailored live and on-demand information sessions

  - Brief training on how to utilize the RTS bot

  - Immediate access to the Streamer Mental Health Kit training program.

TRAINING

Training and resources will be provided to all new ambassadors. This is to learn how to interact with someone reaching for support and offer them the best resources for their current situation.

• Receive focused training to better equip all Ambassadors for interacting and support

• Receive specialized resources to give to others in need

• Receive training for our RTS Bot, learning how to provide on-demand mental health/crisis resources to individuals and how to utilize all of the RTS Bots tools and resources

• Unique role within our Verified Discord server and access to our closed Ambassadors server

• Use of our ever-growing Peer Support Network within Guardians Mental Health’s Partnered Discord server

FUNDRAISING

• Use of our ever-growing Peer Support Network within Guardians Mental Health’s Discord server

• Ambassadors must take part in at least two of Guardians MH’s benefit streams events each year

• Feel free to suggest any other fundraising or sponsorship ideas
