Guardians MH Ambassadors are trusted representatives of Guardians Mental Health. They lead by example advocating for mental health awareness, fostering positive and inclusive gaming spaces, and supporting their communities through mindful content creation and live streaming.

This is a selective program designed for creators who want to stand above as leaders, role models, and advocates for mental health in gaming.

Our Mission

As an Ambassador, you help us:

Promote mental health awareness across Twitch, streaming platforms, social media, and at live events
Represent Guardians MH with integrity, aligning with our mission, values, and ideology
Create safe, inclusive environments through positive gaming experiences and community engagement
Support viewers in need by utilizing Mental Co-Lab and responsibly sharing resources with the Real-Time Support (RTS) Bot when appropriate

Ambassadors are not expected to be clinicians, only compassionate, informed, and committed to helping make gaming spaces healthier.

Application Process

All applicants must complete the official Ambassador application form
Applications are reviewed by the Guardians MH Program Leads
Selected applicants will be contacted with next steps
Accepted Ambassadors are required to complete our Mental Co-Lab program before onboarding

GUIDELINES

Ambassadors are considered official representatives of GMH and must conduct themselves in a manner that aligns with the mission and goals of Guardians Mental Health.

Ambassadors are official representatives of Guardians MH and are expected to uphold our values both on and off stream.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have an active Twitch or other streaming platform channel
- Must provide and maintain their own streaming equipment
- Completion and approval of the Ambassador application survey is required
Conduct & Representation
- Ambassadors must maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful presence
- Harassing, threatening, discriminatory, or harmful behavior is not tolerated
- Profanity is permitted when not excessive, graphic, or intentionally triggering
- Ambassadors may not present themselves in a way that harms the reputation of Guardians MH or its partners
Accountability
- Any reported infractions will be reviewed by Program Leads and voted on by the Leadership Team
- Guardians MH reserves the right to suspend or remove Ambassador status at its discretion
- Removed individuals may no longer use Guardians MH branding, logos, or claim affiliation

Clinical-led training and ongoing educational opportunities
Access to our Live-Streaming Support Program (LSSP)

TRAINING & RESOURCES

All Ambassadors receive structured training to ensure they feel confident and supported.

Training includes:

Best practices for engaging with individuals seeking support
Guidance on sharing appropriate mental health and crisis resources
Full RTS Bot training, including on-demand resource delivery
Access to tailored live and on-demand educational sessions
Access to a private Ambassador Discord and our growing network

Our goal is empowerment not pressure. Ambassadors are never expected to provide therapy or crisis counseling.

FUNDRAISING

Ambassadors play a key role in supporting our mission-driven initiatives.

Participation in at least two Guardians MH benefit stream events per year
Access to our event server for collaboration and guidance
Freedom to propose fundraising, charity, or sponsorship ideas aligned with Guardians MH values
